Abdulwahab Ademola Lawal served in the Nigerian Army Infantry for 22 year and retired in 1995. He served in many capacities both on staff and command. He also served in United Nations Peacekeeping Operations in Iran-Iraq military Observer Group in 1988-99 and ECOMOG 1992-1994. He was awarded United Nations Medal for Peace in 1989.

He served as a Directing Staff at the Command and Staff College, Jaji in 1995. He holds masters and doctorate degrees in Public Policy from St Clements University (2007). He is a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants and a member of it’s governing council. He has held many post military service appoints including member of board of directors Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, 2001-2004, Chairman, Kwara State Task Force on Contract Verification, Pension Audit among others. He was an external examiner at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) SEC 34, 2012. He is currently Head of Research, Savannah Centre for Diplomacy Democracy and Development. He has conducted fieldwork on conflict management in the Northeast Nigeria and written many papers on civil military relations, accountability in the security sector, national security architecture, inter agency collaboration, public service reforms and a host of other issues relating to community security governance and development. He was a member of ministerial committee for the development of training curriculum for the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, a member of Presidential Committee on Police Reform (PORTO) and a member of National Bioethics Committee at the Ministry of Science and Technology. He has obtained Basic and Advanced certificates in management trainers development from the Centre For Management Development and thus a certified trainer. He is currently the Chairman Kwara State Education Trust Fund. He is married with children.

Oluwadamilola Amolegbe is a highly networked entrepreneur, program producer, and thought leader in fashion, culture, and institutional development. She is also an accomplished print and digital editorial director, known for her innovative approach to content creation and storytelling.
As the founder of W. Amolegbe Consulting, a global management consultancy specializing in advisory, consulting, and project management, she has spearheaded transformative initiatives. One of her notable achievements is leading the team behind Kwara State's inaugural Education Futures Summit, which culminated in the landmark Kwara State Education Transformation Agenda (KWETA). Her vision and leadership were instrumental in the launch of KwaraLEARN, a groundbreaking four-year digitalization program for public primary schools in the state.
Oluwadamilola also championed the passage of the Kwara State Education Trust Fund Bill, now a recognized law and agency. Additionally, she supported KwaraAGILE, a World Bank-backed initiative focused on empowering adolescent girls.
In 2023, her contributions were further recognized with her appointment as Executive Secretary of the Kwara State Education Trust Fund.
Alhaji Mohammed Kudu Kawu, Emir of Lafiagi

He is also an alumnus of the Lagos Business School, where he completed a senior management program.
Throughout his illustrious banking career spanning over two decades, Alhaji Kudu has held senior leadership positions, starting with Chartered Bank in 1997, followed by Ecobank, Kano branch (2000-2001), Prudent Bank (2001), Skye Bank (2006), Polaris Bank PLC (2017), and Wema Bank, where he served as a Deputy General Manager until his appointment as the Emir.
As a passionate community development advocate, Alhaji Kudu has consistently used his network to facilitate opportunities for his people, making him a highly respected figure in his community.

Comrade Yusuf Wahab Agboola

Comrade Yusuf Wahab Agboola was born in December 1972 into the family of late Alhaji Yusuf Balogun and late Alhaja Munirat Yusuf of ekarun's compound Erin ile, Oyun Local Government Area, Kwara State. His parents were successful farmer and trader respectively.

He began his educational journey at Muslim LSMB school, Erin ile, where he obtained his first school leaving certificate in 1982. He then attended surajudeen college Erin ile from 1982 to 1987, comprehensive high school Ajase - ipo 1987 -1988. He proceeded to the University of Ilorin where he graduated with a Bachelor of science degree in sociology in 1997. He furthered his academic qualifications with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from Ekiti State University in 2007. Comrade Agboola is widely recognized for his exceptional talent and versality, particularly in all field of sport and sport administration. He was employed as a teacher by the Kwara State Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development in 2003 and was posted to Government Day Secondary School, Owode - Ofaro, Ifelodun LGA, where he taught Government and Social Studies. Through hard work and dedication, he rose through the ranks and is currently the principal of Surajudeen College, Erin ile, a position he has held since 2025.
Beyond the classroom, comrade Agboola is a distinguished Union leader who has occupied several leadership position in different capacity. He served meritoriously as chairman of the Nigeria Union of Teachers, Oyun Local Government Area for two terms from 2013 - 2021. He later served as first vice chairman of the Nigeria Union of Teachers, Kwara State wing from 2023 - 2024. At present, he is the chairman of the Nigeria Union of Teachers Kwara State wing.
He remains committed to the advancement of education, teacher's welfare and youth development in Kwara State.
Chief.(Mrs) Olufunke Mercy Shittu

Chief (Mrs.) Olufunke Mercy Shittu is a seasoned public administrator and accomplished civil servant with extensive experience in public service, administration, and development studies.
She is an alumna of Offa Grammar School, Offa, and holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Linguistics from the University of Ilorin. She further obtained a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the University of Calabar and later earned a Master of Arts and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Peace and Development Studies from the Centre for Peace and Strategic Studies, University of Ilorin.
Mrs. Shittu joined the Kwara State Civil Service in 2006 as an Administrative Officer and has served in various capacities across Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) within the state. Her dedication, professionalism, and outstanding contributions to public service earned her an accelerated promotion in 2017 as part of activities commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the creation of Kwara State.
She is a member of several professional bodies, including the Institute of Corporate Administrators, the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria, and the Society for Peace Studies and Practice.
Mrs. Shittu currently serves as the Permanent Secretary, Service Welfare, in the Office of the Head of Service, Kwara State, where she continues to provide strategic leadership in advancing effective public sector administration and workforce welfare.

Born over five decades ago in Lagos, he received his primary and secondary education on Lagos Island before proceeding to Bayero University, Kano where he obtained a degree in Economics.
Following his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme in Akwa Ibom State, he began his professional career in Abuja.
Ayuba is a seasoned civil rights advocate with over two decades of experience, actively engaged in democratic and human development initiatives across Nigeria.
He currently serves as the Convener of the Coalition of Kwara Civil Society Organisations (CSOs). He is also the State Coordinator , Civil Society Action Coalition on Education for All (CSACEFA).
At the national level, he serves as the North Central Deputy Coordinator of the National Coalition of CSOs on Sustainable Development.
Ayuba is a recipient of multiple awards among which are "Excellence in Civil Society Leadership and Policy Reform" and "Advancing Food security, livelihood and Economic growth in Nigeria".
He is widely travelled both locally and Internationally attending several Professional courses and Conferences on Human rights, Gender and human development.
