April 27, 2026
SUCCESS IS BUILT ON LITTLE THINGS— AND KWARA’S YOUTH ARE LEARNING THAT EARLY
May 6, 2026The Kwara State Education Trust Fund (KwaraETF) acknowledges and commends His Excellency, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, for the approval of the upward review of the Teacher’s Specific Allowance (TSA), as announced in commemoration of International Workers’ Day 2026.
This important step reflects a continued recognition of teachers as central to the delivery of quality education and the advancement of Kwara State’s human capital development priorities.
The Teacher’s Specific Allowance (TSA) remains a targeted welfare provision for educators, designed to reflect the distinct responsibilities of the teaching profession. Its upward review is a positive signal towards improving teacher motivation, retention, and overall effectiveness within the public school system.
As an independent institution with a mandate to strengthen education outcomes, KwaraETF recognises that teacher-focused incentives such as the TSA are most impactful when complemented by sustained investments in enabling conditions—particularly in school infrastructure, teacher development, and learning resources.
KwaraETF will continue to work in alignment with state priorities while advancing data-driven and sustainable interventions that support teachers and improve learning outcomes across Kwara State.
We remain committed to ensuring that reforms and welfare enhancements within the education sector translate into measurable and lasting impact for both teachers and students.
