NAPTAN REORGANIZES KWARA STATE CHAPTER
May 25, 2026The Kwara State Education Trust Fund (KwaraETF) has welcomed Dr. Funke Shittu, Permanent Secretary, Welfare and Acting Head of Service, to its Board as the representative of the Office of the Head of Service, succeeding Mrs. Kemi Adeosun, Permanent Secretary, Business and Innovation, following her recent retirement from the Kwara State Civil Service.
A seasoned public service administrator and policy development professional, Dr. Shittu brings extensive experience in civil service transformation, institutional leadership, and governance to the Board. She currently serves in the Office of the Head of Service, where she has continued to champion efficiency, capacity development, digitisation, and public sector reform within the Kwara State Civil Service.
In recent months, she has played a visible leadership role in several state initiatives, including leadership development engagements for top government officials and the digitisation of civil service promotion examinations in Kwara State — reforms aimed at strengthening transparency, efficiency, and service delivery within the public sector.
Dr. Shittu also recently delivered a presentation at the KwaraETF Board and Management Retreat titled “Surviving Transition in Administration,” where she spoke on the importance of continuity, resilience, adaptive leadership, and sustaining institutional progress during periods of governmental transition.
Her appointment further reinforces KwaraETF’s commitment to strong governance, institutional continuity, and strategic collaboration in advancing education development across Kwara State.
The Board and Management of KwaraETF congratulate Dr. Shittu on her appointment.
