KWARA STATE EDUCATION TRUST FUND STRENGTHENS BOARD WITH TWO CO-OPTED MEMBERS

The Kwara State Education Trust Fund (KwaraETF) has launched Project TutorED 2026, a five-week Summer School Programme designed to provide secondary school students enrolled in public institutions across the State with academic support, STEM exposure, digital literacy, leadership development, mentorship and practical vocational skills.
The programme, which begins on 4 August 2026, is being delivered in partnership with She Builds Lives Foundation and Evergreen Initiative for Empowerment and Constructive Development, with support from SAS Foundation. The initiative reflects KwaraETF’s commitment to extending learning opportunities beyond the classroom and equipping young people with the knowledge, skills and exposure needed to prepare for future success.
Project TutorED 2026 will bring together outstanding young people from across Kwara State, including eligible KwaraETF scholarship beneficiaries, winners of state education competitions and other high-potential students. The programme is expected to provide participants with opportunities for learning, collaboration, mentorship and networking with other promising young people across the State.
Speaking on the initiative, the Executive Secretary of KwaraETF, Oluwadamilola Amolegbe, said the programme was part of the Fund’s broader commitment to investing in young people beyond scholarship support.

Through Project TutorED 2026, we are creating a platform where young people can continue learning, build meaningful relationships, develop practical skills and gain exposure that prepares them for future success. This is another step in our commitment to nurturing well-rounded future leaders for Kwara State.”
The Founder of She Builds Lives Foundation, Bolanle Williams-Olley, welcomed the partnership, describing it as an opportunity to expand the impact of Project TutorED in Kwara State.

We are delighted to partner with KwaraETF to bring this impactful programme to Kwara State. Together, we are creating opportunities for young people to discover their potential, build lasting friendships and prepare for the future.”
The Founder of Evergreen Initiative for Empowerment and Constructive Development, Alli-Bob Cinwon, described the collaboration with KwaraETF as an opportunity to expand the reach of Project TutorED while remaining true to its mission of empowering young people through education and skills development.

Applications are now open to secondary school students enrolled in public institutions and resident in Kwara State. Participation in the programme is free, with admission subject to the programme’s eligibility requirements and selection guidelines.
The programme will commence on 4 August 2026. Successful applicants will be notified directly and provided with further information on the venue and participation requirements before the commencement date.
